One of the distinctives of Biblical Counseling is the use of God’s Word, prayer and homework.  We believe our Lord desires that we be trained in godliness.  Through the use of homework there is encouragement, conviction and teaching.  (Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:16; I Thessalonians 5:17; Ephesians 6:18; I Timothy 2:15)

Ephesians 4:20-24 tells us that as we are taught the truth in Jesus we are to live as we have put off the old man and by the renewing of the spirit of our mind through the Scriptures and that as believers have put on the new man.

Biblical counseling helps teach a believer how to use the Word of God in a practical way during difficult times and circumstances.  It is our desire to strengthen individuals, couples and families and that will in turn strengthen God’s church for service.

Our goal in providing Biblical Counsel is to help you meet the challenges of life in a way that will please and honor the Lord Jesus Christ and allow you to enjoy fully His love for you and His plans for your life.

We believe that the bible provides guidance and instruction for faith and life.  Therefore, our counseling is based on Scriptural principles rather than those of secular psychology or psychiatry.  Neither  the pastoral; nor the lay counselors of this ministry are licensed as psychotherapist or mental health professionals.
